ANXIETY GROUP THERAPY
A Skills-Based, Psychoeducational Program
for Real Change
Anxiety doesn’t just create discomfort; it narrows your world. It disrupts your body, hijacks your thoughts, and pushes you into survival mode long after the threat is gone. If you’re tired of talk therapy that goes nowhere, and you want tools that actually work, this group is designed for you.
This is not a processing group. This is a structured, skills-focused psychoeducational program that teaches the essential components of the Untangled Mind Pathway, my data-driven, results-oriented approach used in individual therapy.
Who This Group Is For
Adults seeking:
-
Clear, direct tools to manage anxiety
-
A structured environment that blends education + practice
-
Skills they can use immediately in real life
-
Calm, clarity, and confidence, not endless venting
-
A supportive but focused group space (not emotional dumping)
This group is ideal for individuals who want more than insight; they want skills, structure, and measurable progress.
Suitable for adults 30+ experiencing:
-
Generalized anxiety
-
Stress-related overwhelm
-
Cognitive spiraling
-
Physical symptoms of anxiety
-
Difficulty with emotional regulation
-
Avoidance, rumination, or racing thoughts
(Not appropriate for active crisis, severe PTSD, or untreated complex trauma; those require individual work first.)
What Makes This Group Different
Most anxiety groups are unstructured and overly focused on “sharing.”
This one is different.
Here, you learn:
-
How anxiety affects the nervous system
-
How to use your body to regulate your mind
-
How attachment influences your reactions
-
How to challenge distorted thoughts
-
How to test behaviors that keep you stuck
-
How to build actual resilience and confidence
Every session includes:
-
Psychoeducation — the “why” behind anxiety
-
In-session skill practice — breathing, grounding, reframing
-
At-home application — short, clear exercises
-
Progress check-ins — data-driven, not guesswork
You walk away with tangible skills, not vague encouragement.
